Browns Games

The Cleveland Browns stadium has a program which allows groups to work at the concession stands at the home games and they get paid a commission on their sales at their stand.  The Beta Rho members started working on these games since the 2022 season.  In 2022 the chapter had a  goal is to raise $5,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, TKE International Philanthropy, and lower dues costs for those members who participate.  They average 15-18 guys per game with 6-8 arriving 4 hours prior to the start of the game to prep their stand.  The remaining guys arrive 2.5 hours prior to the start. This endeavor has been a huge success!  They met their first goal of $5,000 by the third game and are now raising funds to lower chapter dues in the spring and next fall. 

For the 2023 season we will again work the concession stands at all Browns home games and also, we will invite other TKE chapters to join us for a possible second booth.  Due to their great work last year, Aramark, the Browns concession company,  has moved them to a better location which should enable them to raise even more money for their Charity – St. Jude Children Research Hospital as well as the chapter.
This year they will be at the Michael Simon “B-Spot” stand located just inside the stadium’s southeast gate (Univ. Hospital gate).  T Chapter’s goal is to raise $6,000 for St. Jude Children Hospital, our TKE international philanthropy and also set aside funds to lower the semesterly costs to each member.
