BP's Philanthropic Program
124 years ago, Tau Kappa Epsilon was founded on the principles of Love, Charity, and Esteem – ideals which are still at the center of TKE and the Beta Rho Chapter in everything we do. One of the key aspects of our programming is our focus on philanthropic endeavors. Not only does this help each charitable organization through funds raised or service hours provided by our men, but also this helps to build a strong chapter camaraderie and brotherhood. Working together with the various charities helps each and every member on our mission to “ Build Better Men for a Better World”.
In the past year the Beta Rho chapter has raised $23,950 and provided 1125 service hours for the organization we assist. A large element of our program is our International TKE philanthropy goals for St. Jude Hospital founded by our fraternity Brother Danny Thomas. TKE has had a focus on this philanthropy for over 50 years starting with an international program in 1972.
